Family Members Get Inspired during July's SPAC Conference

School District of Philadelphia families attended the State Parent Advisory Conference (SPAC) in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania from July 10-12, 2017. Adults were engaged in various workshops while the children were in age appropriate camps.

Parent Tosha Brunson of Gideon School said that she learned pertinent information that she can share with the families of her school. Lorraine Falligan, grandparent at Kenderton Elementary, along with her two grandkids, had “an awesome time.”

“Why can’t we stay longer?” asked one of Mrs. Falligan’s grandchildren. All family members expressed that they had a wonderful experience at the conference.
