Apply Now: 2017 State Parent Advisory Conference
We're excited to announce that applications are open for the annual State Parent Advisory Conference! The SPAC Conference will happen at the beautiful Seven Springs Resort in Seven Springs, PA, from July 10 - July 12, 2017.
The conference is free for parents - transportation, food, lodging, and childcare will all be provided!
GENERAL OVERVIEW
The Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Annual Parent Conference is designed for parents of school-aged children who want to learn ideas and strategies to help their child at home and become a parent leader at the school level. The conference includes keynote speakers, more than 40 individual workshops, award winning childcare, and networking opportunities.
HOW TO APPLY
The application must be submitted on or before April 28, 2017, by email (tburgess@philasd.org) or in person at The School District of Philadelphia’s Parent and Family Resource Center (440 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130). A random drawing to select participants will be held on May 4, 2017, at 10:00 am at The School District of Philadelphia, 440 N. Broad Street. Presence at the drawing is not required to attend the conference.
