Family Engagement Workshop: Leadership & Advocacy
The FACE Office continued its Family Engagement Workshop series in January with a training on how to advocate effectively for your child.
The workshop featured expert storytellers and education advocates from POWER (Philadelphians Organized to Witness, Empower, and Rebuild). The POWER facilitators led workshop attendees through storytelling exercises to help them learn about how to articulate their concerns and affect change on behalf of their children.
At the end of the workshop, the FACE Office raffled off tickets to the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus.
